Mother

Father and Mother currently are the only mates beside Skeith and Morganna. They are kind and gentle and are one of the very few nurturing dragons in the clan. Aura is friends with them, though Morganna and Skeith see them as weak, Ainur knows that to be untrue as with a flick of Mother's claws (when the Shadow's teased a young dragon) they sent Innis skidding back into a cliff. Morganna and Skeith don't see it, but the rest do and fear the normally sweet couple.

Meda is Mother's familiar and though Morganna wanted the Light guardian as her own, Meda chose Mother. In a way it was their nurturing behavior and the fact they were light element that connected the two of them. Mother loves getting to know the fearsome bear, and in return he loves the dragon's warmth. At night Father gets jealous sometimes because the bear will cuddle at her side.

It is sad that the darkness reaches so far into the mind of these poor souls. Shadowbinder wouldn't want this, and instead of listening to her demands, they create falsity in the minds of those who are born afterwards. I will do what I can and save these children, Lightbringer give me strength. -Mother
