Biography

Owl is the youngest member of the territory patrol. She's also the team's loose cannon, proving to be something of a berserker and displaying a rather stereotypical blazing Fire personality. She also really, really enjoys cupcakes.

Owl was a flame. One that could not be extinguished, at that. However, Kestrel always did cool her flame. More often than not, she was rather annoyed by this. She always felt leashed around her. Simply guarding her territory and now and again doing something slightly bigger bored her.
While the three were a force to be reckoned with within the clan, the Wildclaw wanted to do something more.
She felt like she never even left the Viridian Labyrinth, yet, she never fussed about it.
It wasn't that Owl disliked Peregrine and Kestrel, but they were holding her back.
"I'm leaving," Owl hissed, finally telling them.
"What?" Peregrine's soft voice was louder than normal, and her look of being surprised was new. She had often said 'Expect the unexpected, lest the unexpected get the best of you', and yet it seems that she didn't expect this.
Kestrel's eyes narrowed as if she was wondering if this was another one of her jokes.
"You aren't serious," Kestrel, Peregrine's second in command, looked at the younger Wildclaw as if she were crazy.
"I just can't stay here any longer, nothing challenges us anymore. Plus, you couldn't keep me here if you wanted to. I'm not going to wait around for something to change," Owl tried hard to keep her cool, keeping her gaze on Peregrine, who had an unexplainable look on her face.
Owl could tell that Kestrel was looking for something to say, but her mouth simply remained agape.
Kestrel let out a sigh, her eyes closed.
"Where exactly do you think you are going to go?" Her voice was cool, and she tried to see the reason behind her leaving.
Owl shrugged. She had planned on simply leaving the Labyrinth. Dragonhome, maybe, since it was most likely the closest based off of the clan's map.
"Dragonhome," she said with confidence, giving Kestrel a challenging stare.
Peregrine was lost in her head and remained silent. Owl wasn't sure why, but the leader was soft-spoken as it was. She was never one to make a fuss.
"Dragonhome! It is the opposite as here, how would you expect to survive? There would be absolutely no way that you could stalk your 'prey' for more than a few minutes!" Kestrel was worried for Owl, in all seriousness. Her usually calculated personality seemed to be thrown out of the window, much to Owl's disappointment. It made leaving a lot harder if Kestrel was going to put up a fight to keep her there.
"Kestrel, come on, you know I'm not about that. I like the rush of the hunt, the chase! Here all we do is stalk birds and watch our borders. I won't be staying here, that is for sure!" Owl flared her wings to exaggerate her point.
"Are you not going to miss us?" Peregrine finally spoke. This made Owl think. They did have some good stories together, like that one time Owl nearly got bit by a snake or that other time that Kestrel nearly burnt the place down when she was cooking an extravagant meal.
"I'll miss you just enough. Now, can I go?" Owl was getting slightly impatient. Peregrine took a breath, before nodding.
"It isn't like we can stop you, but at least let us send you off with something to eat and a pelt to sleep on?" She suggested, and Owl grinned and nodded.
Peregrine left to get the things to send off with Owl, leaving her and Kestrel alone.
"Why?" Kestrel asked Owl, confusion obvious in her voice.
"You know why," Owl said simply. The two remained silent after that.
Peregrine set down a pelt wrapped up and pushed it towards Owl.
"There is food in there," she said simply.
"Thank you, Peregrine," Owl said, picking it up before she took off with it.
"Bye!" Kestrel and Peregrine said in unison as she flew away.
"What about the clan leader? What will they think about this?!" She heard Kestrel growl at Peregrine, and by the time she responded she was out of earshot.
Freedom, finally! She felt like she could fly forever.
Once she made it to the edge of the Viridian, she rested. She wasn't going to cross over the water with tired wings, no matter how awake the rest of her was.
Owl unwrapped the pelt, and took some of the food and ate it. There wasn't much there so she finished it off, before setting the pelt down on the forest floor.
She stretched out on the pelt, before finally sleeping.

Owl was up bright and early, the sun just lifting over the horizon and the sky dusted with pinks and oranges. From there, she decided she would fly straight to Dragonhome, rather than stop at any islands.
It'd only take her a few hours, she guessed. There was a light breeze over the sea and the smell of salt infiltrated her senses.
There was a boat ahead of her, and she decided to go check it out.
Once she got closer, she noticed there were two. They looked to be fighting each other.
Finally! Something exciting!
She landed on the smaller of the two ships, and the second her talons touched the wood, a Skydancer charged at her.
The Wildclaw gave them a toothy grin, before running towards them.
They collided, hard. The Skydancer fell backward, and Owl took the opportunity to pin them down.
Another dragon flew down, this time from the larger ship.
"Who are you?" It was a Wildclaw, like herself.
"Owl, now are you going to help me take care of this or not?" She hissed, flicking her head to the pinned dragon.
The Wildclaw nodded, grabbing one of his wings in his jaws. Owl copied him, and together they threw him overboard.
"I'm Albatros," The blue Wildclaw explained, and Owl nodded.
The rest of the time, Albatros and his crew, which was just him and two Skydancers, fought side by side.
Once the smaller ship retreated, they all got back on the big ship.
"So, why'd ye just join the battle?" The shiny orangeish feathered Skydancer who introduced himself as Vile asked.
"I had to get to Dragonhome and I just spotted the ships and came over to check it out, and the Skydancer charged at me," Owl said with a shrug.
"Oh, we are heading that way to meet our traders! Ye can stay abord if you'd like," Rylah, the other Skydancer who had blue feathers like the Wildclaw, suggested.
"Yeah, sure I'll stay," Owl wasn't one who could fly long distances. Or, she didn't like to anyways. Her wings always got so sore. Sailing sounded much, much nicer.
She noticed the crates full of fruit abord, and some fruits scattered outside of the baskets.
"What is with the fruits?" Owl asked, curious.
"For the dealers," Albatros explained, and Owl hummed in response.
"Those fish brained sea serpents tried to steal our luggage!" Vile exclaimed, watching Rylah picking up the fruits. Albatros ended up heading over to help her.
"Fruits? Definitely fish brained! Fruits aren't worth that much!" She liked that insult and added it to her mental list.
"Ah, ye see, it wasn't just the fruits. We've got some pretty nice treasures too, from around the 11 elemental grounds," Vile explained, and Owl's interest peaked.
"Can I see any of it?" She asked, and the Skydancer turned to Albatros. The blue Wiidclaw nodded at him, and Vile nodded to Owl.
He took her to under the deck, and her jaw dropped at all the treasures, which were organized by color. Most of them were in cases, too.
She walked up to the reds and oranges, and an excellently crafted necklace caught her eye. The gem embedded in it looked like it held fire.
"Where'd this one come from?" She asked, pointing to it. Vile opened his mouth to speak, but Albatros walked into the room to answer her question.
"Straight from the forge. How come, do you like it?" He walked over to her side and she nodded.
"I wouldn't mind parting with it, you can take it," she looked at him with a confused look, but picked it up and placed it on herself.
"Thanks," she nodded at him, and he nodded back to her. Vile looked at them with a dropped jaw.
"Ye never let me touch anything and ye just give her that?!" Vile shouted jokingly, making Owl snicker a bit.
"That wasn't as valuable as everything else," He shrugged, turning to go upstairs. Owl and Vile followed.
"Well then, can I 'ave something less valuable like the necklace?" Vile asked, like a child asking for candy.
"You want a necklace?" Albatros asked with a grin, and Vile simply groaned sarcastically.
"Ye know what I mean, Cap'n," they made their way to the top floor, noticing they were nearing the shore.
"Wow, this thing can move fast!" Owl exclaimed, and Albatros nodded.
"She's the fastest to ever grace these oceans!" Vile said as he grabbed some fruit and hopped off the ship, his talons moving around the rocks.
A clan of dragons waited on the stone-covered beach, and he guessed that they were the ones who needed to fruit.
"Vile!" One of the dragons, who was a grey Skydancer, walked over to him to greet him.
"Florian, we have the fruit. It is good to see you," Vile placed down the crate, before heading to the ship to get another. Albatros was properly parking the ship so he couldn't help, but Rylah was already down there with another crate. She and Florian had a similar talk.
Owl decided to help, hauling one of the crates down to the leader.
"Ah, and you are?" He asked Owl, before adding "new member to the crew?"
"Owl, I was just hitching a ride. Just left my old clan," she explained, and Florian nodded.
"If you want, you could stay with us till you find a clan?" He suggested, and Owl shrugged.
"Will I do something less boring than border control?" She asked, and he nodded.
"If you want, you can try to track down a dragon who has recently left our clan while kidnapping another clan member. I'll send some of my raptors with you if you do,"
"Sounds fun, but who or what are the raptors?" Owl asked with a confused tone.
"Oh, our warriors. They are all Wildclaws," Florian explained and she nodded.
"Yeah, I'll come," She said simply, before shouting her goodbyes to the crew and heading off with the clan, crate in hand.
