Biography

Cirrus came from a family that was seen as an outcast by other dragons in the Starfall Isles. Rex and Regina were oddities in their families; they both were children born to different breeds of dragons. Rex was born as a Wildclaw to two Imperials whereas Regina was born as a Coatl to two Pearlcatchers. No one could find an explanation for this strange phenomenon. At first, their parents thought that another couple had mistakenly left an egg in their nest, but no one came forth to claim the hatchlings and the two couples decided to take in the hatchlings. How Rex and Regina came to know each other is a story for another time.

Cirrus was the ninth child of Rex and Regina. While the pale coloured family had settled down in the Arcane territory, Regina and her coatl children frequently suffered from bouts of illnesses, which meant that Rex had to leave for long periods of time to find medicine for them. Some of their children succumbed to illness, dealing a greater blow to both parents. Cirrus was the first coatl hatchling to survive her coming of age. Rex and Regina were overjoyed by this turn of events. Although Cirrus suffered from her own health issues, she was the proud mother of thirteen children.

After experiencing so many health problems, it was natural that she had some knowledge on healing. Since she was usually her own patient, Cirrus was more experienced when it came to treating other coatls. She had a goal in life: to find a cure for fading coatls. Soon, it was clear that she had reached a bottleneck with what she could learn within the libraries of the Arcanist and Cirrus decided it was time to leave.

The first stop Cirrus made was to the Earth territory where records of ancient events could be found. Surely there would be some record for how to treat unwell coatls in this region? She thought as she was welcomed into a clan. However, it seemed like her trip was for naught as the records she perused described conflicts and rituals in the first two ages. Very little was mentioned on how one could heal a fading coatl.

Disappointed, Cirrus ventured to the Light territory next, hoping that if there wasn’t any record found in the wall carvings, then perhaps someone had recorded it down in a different way. The archaeological ruins would be her best option. If not, the Southern Icefield might have some evidence preserved. With that in mind, Cirrus headed for her next destination.

Several years later, Cirrus was successful in finding bits of writings and methods that had been tried by predecessors. Still, there was nothing could work as a cure. So she turned her eyes to the Viridian Labyrinth, where there was a large amount of flora and fauna- surely some of them could be ingredients for her cure? With that in mind, Cirrus set off for the Labyrinth, hopeful that she would be able to make further progress in her research.
