The move was planned after Aria, the clan's previous progan, was exalted and the clan was left to burn in The Ashfall Waste. The clan was in chaos, scavenging and hunting for scraps, and with no leader, the feeling of having no one to relay on- no protector, no way to be safe-, crept into the clan. Shen stood tall and led the clan to the only place she knew before being bought by her new family: The Windswept Plateau,her birth place.
Some dragons were left behind, those who refused to leave the place of their birth, their roots and their Deity. Some of them even believed that Shen was behind Aria's exaltation and accused her of the state of the clan and attacked her.
Shen left those who stayed behind with the option of joining her after all, if they ever regretted their decision. Shen is always welcoming newcomers to her clan.
She is very religious and prays for the Windsinger at every opportunity she gets, as she always did, even when her home was in The Ashfall Waste. Sonna sometimes prays with her, even though she does not hold any of the Deities to a god-like statues.
Her home is filled with kites and bells and birds, which she sometimes likes to share with the little hatchlings who stumble into her small lair.
