Epa is as cold as the home she hails from. There is not a hint of welcome or warmth in her pale eyes. Not even a hint of anger as she demands answers or coolly brings on physical harm to get her answers. She is the perfect model of a prison guard, and that's why the Misfits are scared of her.

The Fae-shaped Ice spirit came to be during an intense blizzard at the Fortress of Ends. She lived among the Gaolers there, and became quite a good prison warden. She soon interrogated enemies from opposing flights that the Icewarden and his army of exalted dragons captured. Her actions to make them talk strongly clashed with her cold and calculating personality, and that was what made her scary to even the veterans among the Icewarden's forces. She moved into the Misfits. Even though Epa insists she has the skills for it, the Misfits refuse to keep any prisoner. And even if they do, they will never use her cruel nature.
