Roana

The Highspine Archives was a rather cozy little group of buildings situated in the cusp of the towering crystals that lay on the edge of Arcane land. Dedicated to knowledge of all sorts, the establishment prided itself in being a resource unparalled -- to those who bothered to stop by, of course. Being what it was, the Archives attracted the good, the bad, and all between, leading to a rather interesting company; however, Roana had come to the Archive on a wild wind instead of a wild thirst for learning. Much unlike the majority of the establishment's residents, the young dragoness had come for family. Kaiser and Rashad, two loyal, if not disconcerting archivists, were the grandparents of the newcoming scholar, and took Roana under their guiding wings once they learned she had left her home Light den to study alongside family.
During her time at the Archives, however, Roana's need to know more of the world grew, until one day she felt she had to bid farewell to her grandparents -- and the rest of the archivists -- and embark on a search for more places like the one she came from. With her trusty pocket mouse, Alen, by her side, the young dragon took to the skies, hoping for adventures spanning across the realm. Who knew when she'd return?

The Viridian Labyrinth was her first destination. She found her way to a large clan with a lair built at the base of the Behemoth, and to her delight, a significant archive of its own at the heart of the lair. It wasn't necessarily on the scale of an archive in Starfall Isles, Arcane territory, or Sunbeam Ruins ,Light territory, but the imperial and pearlcatcher who maintained it were proud of their collection, and Roana learned a great deal about Beastclan lore and magic from their Serthis companions and from their own collection of scrolls and transcribed oral accounts.

It wasn't just a scholarly stop, either; she enjoyed exploring the jungle outside, joining the clan's hunting parties on occasional excursions, and sampling the very different cuisine of the Nature flight. She'd never heard Coatl spoken before, and although she only learned a few words of it, she was very proud of her newfound ability to say hello, goodbye, and count to three. Another traveler in the lair was a fellow Light Flight native, and his presence was a welcome taste of home in an otherwise exciting and foreign setting. But in time she decided she was ready to move on.

Roana wondered around and stayed at at lair in the Everbloom Gardens before leaving the Viridian Labyrinth. She stayed in Forum of the Obscured Crescent in the Tangled Wood, Shadow territory, for a bit before leaving and traveling to the other side of the world, the Southern Icefields. There she stayed at a lair in the Cloudscrape Crags. Eventually, as sh had every time before, Roana felt to urge to move on and travel the world. And so, with Alen by her side, she said good bye to the dragons that she had gotten to know and took off to travel the world.

Roana traveled over the water to the Ashfall Waste. The immense heat from below encouraged her onward and she continued over it until she reached the Sea of a Thousand currents. Once there, Roana stumbled on a lair in the Tsunami Flats where she was welcomed in. Although the archives were not nearly as extensive as her previous residences, she enjoyed it all the same. The stories from the other dragons who had also traveled around before ending up there were all interesting and different. Each told stories of their travels and in return, Roana told them of her own.
