Biography
It's not uncommon knowledge that dragons born with runes possess magical ability, and following the tradition of his mother, his runes determine what he can control.
And it's so silly, yet so useful.
As the young wildclaw grew, his mother tracked his runes, the colors, what he seemed to be able to control, and in the rich forests of the Gladekeeper, it was prime ground to discover what her youngest son could control, and surprisingly, it was grapefruits. An odd thing to be able to control, but yet, he made the trees sprout like it was no big deal. Any bark, leaves, even rind of the grapefruit plant he could control, he could recreate the citrus-y scent and fill it in the air. The flavors in salads and drinks could be made weaker or stronger, and the grapefruits themselves were made to be rather tart or sweet.
It was, entirely impressive to his mother. It was such a unique, such an ability, that she wished him to go on and learn further. Aromatherapy could be a thing, a botanist, an orchard even.
There were so many opportunities for him, and being so hyped up by his mother at the pure one-of-a-kind ability he had, he flew to travel and see how else he could improve it.
Maybe he could make grapefruit haters like them.
