Biography
from http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=userpage&id=48855
There are three signs that Bakal has arrived.
The first, is the disquiet that precedes him. A deafening silence that blankets everything. The animals, the birds, and even the wind sat still. Not a blade of grass whistles, not a single leaf rustles, not a single footfall can be heard.
Just utter silence. The early warning before his arrival.
Second. A frigid chill that spreads as he sweeps into view. A bitterness unrivaled even by the Southern Icefield. A biting cold that leaves every limb blue and turns every nerve numb. Blood freezes, hearts stop, plants cocooned in a blanket of crystal.
The closer you are, the more your veins turn to ice.
The third, and final, sign that Bakal has passed, were the shards of glass.
They littered after him like a cape. Shining iridescent under the light, and staying frigid even in the face of the hottest of ice magics. Some of them were shattered close together, others, far apart. The odd thing is, that when bored travelers try to piece together the shards.
It begins to resemble familiar faces, frozen as a white stature.
Many have tried to ask Bakal about it. Why his footsteps are followed by broken glass.
No one ever returned, and Bakal continues to walk with even more shards twinkling in his wake.
