Vespa was born and trained to be a cleric of the Lightweaver. Instead, she became a paladin. It's more or less the same, she just focuses more on causing damage now instead of healing. It isn't that she's a bad healer, more that she doesn't like sitting around picking up the pieces when she could be out dealing with the problem head on. She has travelled all across Sornieth serving its population in the name of her patron deity. She escorts travellers, fights bandits and beastmen incursions and generally tries to be where people are most in need. Despite her impulsive behaviour, Vespa does genuinely enjoy helping people, and she does not charge for her services now she has a permanent home to return to in the Coatl Enclave of Mossgarde. Whilst she is one of the only Coatls in the Enclave that is not related to Stogwen by blood, she enjoys being among her own people. Before, she was a wandering paladin, and whilst she did not exploit her patrons, she often needed to seek rewards for her efforts in order to be able to fund her ability to do her job.

Before she settled down with Audacity, Vespa's favourite place to be was Dragonhome; though she enjoyed the climate and the rocky terrain, she had a particular fondness for a certain rest stop run by her now mate. He loved to hear her stories, and she loved the fish he caught and the music he played. Frequently, when she visited, they would find themselves making a nest together. Though they did not have a serious relationship, when he asked her to move with him to the Viridian Labyrinth, Vespa did not have to think about it long before she made the commitment. Even without Audacity, she longed for a place to belong, and had often found herself envious of those with homes and loving families. Vespa had never had any of that growing up. Whilst now she still has the freedom to explore with the career she has built for herself, she now has a home to go back to with a mate, and his found family, who love her.
