Porcelain

"Everything ends eventually... Eventually the day will come when I won't be here anymore. Since that's the case, the timing of it doesn't matter. The important thing is not how long you live... It's what you accomplish with your life. While I live, I want to shine. I want to prove that I exist. If I could do something really important... That would definitely carry on into the future... And so, if I were to disappear... I think all that I have accomplished will go on. That is... That would mean... That it's living, right?"

Porcelain is tired of being called "cute" or "tiny." She's larger than the average Fae, she is a fierce mage from the Scarred Wasteland, her magic energy is powerful and her attacks deadly. Yet because she is of a small breed, and with soft pastel colors to make matters worse, she is often told how adorable she is. She knows those who say so mean well, but it doesn't stop the well-meaning comments from wearing on her.

As a result, she careful paints her scales with a white clay slip. Unfortunately, this does not reduce the comments she receives, as due to her small form, many larger dragons cannot make out the skeleton she has so carefully painted. She harbors no ill will regardless, but as a result of her unassuming appearance, she pushes herself hard to be an effective fighter, taking down foes several times her size in a few attacks. Only the most magically attuned can see how this is impacting her body; the immense magic she has accumulated gives her immense potential, but her overuse is preventing her from realizing it, her body heading towards burnout with every attack. Porcelain knows this, too, but feels that accomplishing impressive magical feats is worth the cost.
