An Introduction:

They oft called her a "reclusive billionaire", the Imperial of such enormous wealth that she had since ascended to deity status. It was all quite fanciful.Anyone who knew Pri had long known that wasn't the case...she was just quite occupied raising the most chaotic-neutral dragon in Sornieth, despite not being that much older. Physically. If anything, the one who was a recluse was Illunis, who preferred to avoid large gatherings of dragons. Pri was just following after the cute younger Imperial who could defeat those over thrice their age and tore Beastclan camps apart when tired of their futile schemes against them. Really, Illunis was simply adorable, and she liked travelling anyways. But Apricity could only ignore her responsibilities for so long before she had envoys hounding her down across Sornieth. She was a rather important figure in her clan, after all. Funding and resources all came from her; perhaps the clan had grown a bit too dependent? A tad annoyed, Pri regretfully parted with Illunis - the regret was entirely on her, the younger Imperial couldn't care less - and returned to her clan to settle some matters. "Settling" became kindly beating into her clan leaders' heads that they needed to get their affairs in order because Pri had places to be and more suitable uses for her time and assets. And because Pri liked to keep up the facade of being a kind and pleasant dragon, she stuck around only long enough for the clan to become stable without her. A few debts owed here and there were only going to help her in the future, though she was getting a little tired of this dance. It had been fun at first, ascending the ladders of even the least trustful of clans, but now she had a greater source of entertainment. Even if that source had somehow found themselves a clan that they actually liked. Pri was proud of Illunis. The Ghost Moon Alliance? She'd had this clan on her list for a while, thought it didn't look like her usual schemes were going to even have the slightest affect. That was fine; Pri still had Illunis, and she didn't mind backing the clan that supported them. Genesis:

Apricity - it was always her full name back then, crisp and clear and sharp like the eyes that watched her every move-But she had long since outgrown that memory. The paranoia? Perhaps not so much, but a healthy dose of self-preservation was good for an Imperial doing what she did. Long hours under a heavy hand, numbers flying through her head, harshly spoken lessons and reprimands falling as freely as the coins their small, two-person family gained seemingly out of nowhere. Her mother had been a genius, Apricity knew. Never needed to rely on her wayward mate, off serving the deity whose eyes she held. Her mother had taught her everything she needed to know about surviving; how to gain trust and respect just with a smile and a tilt of your head; how to give absolutely zero care to the lives you were ruining; how to defend yourself when they eventually came for your head and questionably obtained treasures. Apricity remembered those lessons well. There was no way she could have forgotten, even when she'd parted ways with Tsavora after all these years. But the most important lesson her mother had taught her, beyond everything, was how to love and care with your entire existence, and then pretend like you didn't. Tsavora had loved her, Apricity knew, loved how she flew and the eyes they both shared, loved the sheen of her scales and the grace with which words fell out of her mouth, lies and truth mixed and blended into reality. Neither of them were the best at showing their affection. |

- Apricity goes by "Pri" because she doesn't want to taint the memory of her mother saying "Apricity" so fondly.
- Illunis was in a similar position to Apricity, only their parents didn't secretly love them like Tsavora. Apricity is fond of Illunis because they are what Apricity once could have been, maybe. - Apricity is very much a risk taker. She might present herself as a calm and well-mannered Imperial, but she isn't scared to put her life on the line infiltrating clans and stealing away with treasure and secrets alike. |
