Biography
Name: Oasis
Role: Clan counselor, emotional healing, time turner
Hoards: Robins feathers, waters (sea/rain/river/you name it), and inks
Personality: Wonderful, bright, gentle but knows when to push
*Lore being worked on
Oasis skimmed the water with his wings, making ripples on the surface and getting water drops all over his belly. He held a large-mouthed canteen down into the river, adding to his collection of various water types. Oasis had no real reason to believe that all the water could actually do anything, but he enjoyed collecting regardless. Soon he would be on his way to another clan who had called him about one of their members. This member in question was a small Guardian dragon dealing with a bout of anxiety and couldn't do the one thing his breed was meant for - protecting (guarding, if you will) a specific object. The dragon would be overrun with fear until he was shaking and in shambles, which would let the attackers to the object they wanted. It kind of defeated the purpose of a guard dragon. Oasis was to go in and get to know the dragon, and find them an open relaxing space to work in. Maybe there'd be a field nearby.
Oasis capped his canteen and dove into the water for a quick cool down. He had learned how to dive, ironically from a client who had become terrified of deep water and needed help. Every river had interesting objects at the bottom, and he would try his best to collect them. Usually he would gift them to a client in hopes they could use it as a reminder of his lessons. Lucky for him, the brain is designed to associate objects with certain emotions. Just this little object could help relax a dragon, and more than once he had seen old clients with their trinkets dangling from their necks or tied in their manes. Now, there is one odd thing to say about Oasis, and that's his own history. No one is quite sure where he came from, and where he even lives. Like an oasis, he only appears when times are so tough you start dreaming up things. He is here to heal others, and flip back time to when they were healthy or fast forward to it. He can't really turn time per se, but he can pinpoint the moment something changed, and with the help of his client he can soothe it. That's not to say he makes it all better again and that moment never happened, but he can release the edge on it and let things start again. Oasis' main goal is to help every creature he crosses paths with, and guide them to their next journey.
