Miles is a bit of a maverick amongst the guards, known for ditching his post to instead listen to Xanna's local radio broadcasts. It isn't unexpected, seeing as he's the youngest guard, but it is irritating nonetheless.

He's a little insecure about not having a charge yet. Spruce and Pogo, his adoptive parents, say that it's normal at his age- but how long until it isn't?

His egg was found by Spruce during his daily scavenging. Being an orphan himself, he immediately adopted Miles in an effort to pass on the kindness his own adoptive parents had shown him.
