Adam was born from an egg that had been abandoned, leaking pus from the cracks in the shell. He dragged himself from his shell, blind and deaf, before collapsing on the ground next to the shattered remnants of it. He was found, crying softly, by a travelling clan that happened to be wandering past. They raised him, feeding him from their own pitiful resources, and looking after him as best they could
He was born in the Plaguelands, adopted by a travelling Plague clan, and grew up in their arms. He was surrounded by unconditional love and affection, something that he brings with him wherever he goes these days. In the clan he was raised in, he found the girl of his dreams. She was beautiful, smart and - above all - strong. The nocturne girl fought him and won, and in that moment, Adam found his heart hammering in his chest as his entire world shifted. This was the discovery of his Charge. The two of them set out to find themselves a life that fulfilled both of them, leaving their clan behind they ventured into the wasteland and beyond, eventually settling in a small forest with the broken dragons they collected. |
Adam has spent his entire life surrounded by strong women who will fight for what they want. He has never been more afraid of any dragon than Eve in a rage - something that he admires about her. It is this ferocious mentality that Adam has taken, pushing for strength at all times. He does not care about the individuality of any dragons; not their species or their disabilities. He cares only about how to train them to be better. While Eve cares about the logistics, Adam cares for the clan in a much more practical way. He finds the food and materials necessary for their every-day survival. It is Adam that decides which of the clan will become War-Pups and War-Beasts, meaning that the excited welps in Delilah's care worship the ground that Adam walks on. He often finds himself being trailed by several small dragons, learning to stalk their prey the same way that Adam does. His love for Eve is the only thing that takes president above his Clan. After all, she is his Charge. The two of them work together to protect everything they care about, and every dragon that enters their clan is burned into Adam's memory as brightly and as boldly as their individual personalities. |
