When Cyanic was born she was toxic to the touch, and immediately made her clutchmates sick. She was ostracised by her clan, and shunned as a danger. Eventually on a sea-crossing trip she was traded to the Prisma Reef in exchange for temporary permission to forage in their lands. Told to conceal her nature until they were gone, Cyanic avoided her new clan and considered whether leaving to serve a deity she had always been told she was unworthy of was better than the mistreatment she would face from a new clan.

Her new clan's Poison Master, however, recognised her abilities immediately, and began to train her.

First he helped her to adapt to the water, allowing her full access to the reef. Then he helped to her to grow a coating of thick scales over some parts of her body, rendering these parts non-toxic, allowing her a way to physically interact with others without risking hurting them.

Now Cyanic trains in poison making and toxicity knowledge. She especially likes curative and restorative work, and is the go-to dragon when faces with a venomous bite or a poison ingestion.
