Jocoben wants to make sure everyone feels loved and included. There's not a single outsider he won't talk to, not a single clique he considers himself outside of, and he will always stop to look at a hatchling's drawing or stick creation or whatever they want to babble their heads off about, no matter how obnoxious that child happens to normally be.

He's not one for speeches or grand gestures; he's just always there. That's his goal in life. To be present. To be available whenever anyone should need him. Stressed out parents can't find a babysitter? He'll watch the kids. Still grieving that breakup that everyone else thinks you should be over? He'll sit and let you cry. Frustrated with your mate and tired of hearing everyone else's advice about how they worked their relationship out? He'll listen to you vent. You've been isolating yourself, out of depression or stress or a combo of the two? He'll seek you out. Feel like there's this huge cloud of doubt about everything in existence hanging over your head that you can't find the words to express? He'll be able to see it. He'll find you and ask you what's going on in a way that makes you want to drag the dredges out of your soul.

He's also a goofball. He's a dad with the dad jokes and the blunders and everything, the whole package, but somehow that isn't off-putting. It just makes him feel all the safer. He's not going to gossip about your problems, not even to his wife. He's not going to fret and worry about you every moment of the day, so you don't have to worry about being a burden. But he'll remember. He'll check back with you. He'll let you know he was thinking about you. And if what you need is an ear to listen to you or a shoulder to cry on, he'll be that, but if you need distracted from the endless responsibilities of life, he's good for that to. He has endless stories. He knows how to make anyone smile, to raise a laugh out of even the most down and out.

In a clan that sometimes seems to be be filled with endless drama, Jocoben is the point where the buck stops. He doesn't take things personally. He doesn't feel the need to give advice and he doesn't claim to Know Things. He's a genuinely good spirit who just wants the world to feel cared for.
