Crono prefers to spend his time in any bushes that aren't mutated or deadly. He'd rather find things to eat in places that aren't trying to eat him. He does like to sneak off to more life-friendly flight grounds for food, though the tangled shrubs and twisted berry bushes within the Wastes do provide some tricky-to-gather sweetberries. He makes do, and the others who prefer a diet of plants among him are grateful.
Crono doesn't have much of a role other than grabbing some berries or a clawful of flowers, but he's great at entertaining the hatchlings! At least, he thinks he is. Jabber doesn't let him stay too long, though. She says he could end up giving them headaches with how much he likes to move. She says its his colors. He never saw why, though. Maybe its because he never really could see his colors. At least not right.
