Originally from the clan named Cypress Hall, Dodge is a turned Hunter. He came to the Hall to help out in the growing trade shop. He made friends and even had a budding romance with the perfumer there before he lost his arm.
All that changed when Sovkayar showed his true colors. Dodge barely knew what was happening when the small spiral appeared in the shop looking for anything to protect him from the dragons coming for him. He saw Dodge who didn't know any better than to try and help who he assumed was still the young druid. Sovkayar repaid the kindness by draining his Essence and shaping it into something not unlike a Prime Hunter so he would protect Sova with his life.
Unlike Sova Dodge had a better flight or fight reaction and took Sova and his other guard and just ran. He didn't stop running until they had gotten to the other side of the continent to be as far from Cypress Hall possible. That was when they arrived at the temptation's valley in Dragonhome. Sova forced him and Wolf to join the temptation along with him and now they are in a state of half trustedness by other Hunters.
Where Wolf thrived Dodge has struggled. He's deeply resentful of Sova for what he did to him and has quite a bit of internalized hate for himself and what he now is. His former life is completely gone, utterly destroyed, and he can never go home to his old life. He refuses to hunt but other wildclaws of the temptation bring him food and he begrudgingly eats. He spends most of his time exploring the winding caves of the valley and drawing deep earth water to the surface so it can maybe bring some fresh life to this otherwise dead and barren landscape.
