A child of storm and water, Byr sees himself as a relic of a better age. In times of war, he is in his element; revelling in the battlefury and bloodlust. In peacetime, he cannot help but seek conflict, for without it his soul seems to wither. His deep curiosity led him to the Enclave, and he sees himself as the catalyst for change, believing that the current leadership are too content to sit back and watch the mysteries of the world unfold without their influence. For now, he is biding his time in his ragged home in the ribcage of the leviathan, waiting for the opportunity to strike at the heart. In another life, he might have been a pirate, for the sea holds an irresistable lure to his spirit. It was through mutual love and respect for the ocean that he came to know Dajeil, and they spent time observing and studying the oceanic life that inhabits the Drifting Expanse. They still call themselves mates, although the status seems to shift with the tides. |
