ShadowSting

They call me ShadowSting. I'm the only one of my nest lucky enough to have a name. I was abandoned in the Auction House, from a mother that doesn't have a name either. Just a number. Like a slave. I wear the adornments of a slave as well...a pretty thing of fine breeding meant to please and enchant.My siblings will probably all be slaves as well...But me? I'm too angry. I fight too much. I'm too smart. So I escaped. And found my way to a new owner. I made a friend while in the AH...Hoctare, My familiar. He taught me to use the magic I was born with, the magic I inherited from my poor mother. Isladi saw me and Knew I was special. She gave me a name. And introduced me to WindSong. I'm...reasonably happy now, I suppose...strangly enough, my best friend- something I never thought I would have in the first place, is Vampyre. She seems to understand me more than any dragon I've met, and it's wonderful. Isladi died in a terrible illness that wiped out all of the Mirrors in the clan...she left me in charge, and now I...I am The Witch. WindSong was injured in battle and fell...we never had pups together. I lead this Clan alone for a while, helping my clanmates reach their full potential, helping them find love, helping my band of misfits and shadow beings grow, all while lonely myself. And then I met Him. Nightwish. He was beautiful, and I knew our pups would be, too. But I still did not feel his equal...I loved him with everything I had, but I was an Imperial, and he was a Nocturne. But now...thanks to a bit of magic...I am finally who I'm meant to be!.
