Ghost

I am the daughter of a Cursed monster, and a Dark mage;
Isn't that a terrible thing?
I suppose I'm running from myself?

Who knows, this adventure in the icy wastes takes me to more of my lineage and further monsters; yet no one else seems to notice, they go about their lives like nothing is amiss.

I've since found only one who seems to consider these threats real, a Snapper...with some interesting eyebrows.

I keep record of these creatures, counting and naming them. Some are benign...others less so and one has gone missing.

as I delve deeper I wonder if I too will end up like these other creatures, or like my mother, perhaps a spirit yet lurks within me, waiting to take control.

Will that spirit be a Horror like the great coiling mass of eyes?
Will it be a vanishing statue held in place only when looked upon?

I worry I won't know till it's too late and my friend The Snapper seems to wonder the same thing. For now we are companions, but how long does that last? I hope long enough to unravel this mystery and find out what these creatures' goals are.
