Cocoa

Cocoa was the only female offspring of five hatchlings born to Matthew, a Coatl male, and Sirona, a Wildclaw female. Being the most adventurous of the hatchlings, Cocoa was constantly wandering off from her Parents. On one of these outings, Cocoa became separated from her Parents and brothers when she decided to chase down a possible meal in the woods.

Cocoa did not realize how far away she had become from her Parents until she realized the only sounds around her were that of the strange creatures that lived in the woods. Hearing an unknown dragon approaching, Cocoa hid behind a bush intent on jumping out and scaring the dragon away before it realized that she was alone.

As soon as the dragon walked by, Cocoa pounced out of the bush and slammed right into a solid mass of a Guardian dragon. Sage, being entertained and impressed by the little Wildclaw hatchling, feigned fright and pled with this little warrior for his life. Cocoa, impressed with her stealth prowess, stepped back and told the dragon that he was free to go about his business. Noticing that the dragon was not moving, Cocoa looked up and was in shock with who she was face to face with.

Sage, the GoofyC’s Clan of the Pantry Realm’s Clan Leader, was smiling down at her. Cocoa immediately realized that she really had not scared him but only managed to amuse this great dragon. Remembering her manners taught to her by her Parents, Cocoa bowed to Sage and offered her name and the names of her Parents and apologized for jumping out at him.

Cocoa had no idea that Sage knew her Parents, Matthew and Sirona, from his visits he made to the Katshepsut’s Clan when conducting business with their Clan Keeper, Nefertiti, and two of her Committee members, Neptune and Pompilius. As Cocoa was about to speak again, she heard her Parents and brothers coming toward them.

After warm greetings were offered, Cocoa listened to Sage tell on her and what she did (or tried to do) to him. Worried she has pushed the limits too far with her Parents, Cocoa was bracing herself to be reprimanded, when she realized Sage was offering to take her under his wing and teach her in the ways of the Wind element and serve under his god, Windsinger, to help strengthen the bonds of the two Clans. To Cocoa’s delight, her Parents agreed, and Cocoa bade farewell to them and her brothers and left with Sage to live in her new home lair.
