King Shadow was not cut of royal cloth. In fact, he was the opposite. A rogue. A vagabond. And a thief. He broke the hearts of a hundred dames and brushed it off with a rugged grin. It was a lifestyle that never got old and kept him on his toes. He wouldn't have given it up for anything.

At least, not until he met Angelite. She was like an angel, reaching her claws down for him to take. Shadow was taken, smitten, enamored with the pretty filigree that covered her. He couldn't take her claws though, not like this. She was fancy, upper class. He had a bounty on his head with more digits than his ID number.

He couldn't ask Angelite's hand in marriage until he shook this bounty. And what better way to shed responsibility than to get a new identity? It wasn't like he inherited his father's pretty petal genes anyway. He dipped into the treasure he stole and scrapped for until he could trade it for mosaic, it wasn't the most popular but he liked the way it look on him, and the accent he got with the leftovers complimented him nicely uwu

When Shadow had his first clutch with Angelite, he did some research. It was his first time being there to raise the hatchlings himself. In his research though, he discovered that the combination of his new genes and her genes made their little Tiabeanie unique. Very unique.

Angelite was thrilled! And Tiabeanie was so cute. It was like they were the starters of a brand new subspecies. And when Tiabeanie started calling himself Prince Tiabeanie, it made sense to call themselves King and Queen. And why not? There were no rules that they couldn't dig out a little kingdom for themselves. So they settled it. King Shadow and Queen Angelite. It was perfect
No member of the royal family is ever to be exalted, return them home to ButterflyGardens
