B I O G R A P H Y

Arcade is a mysterious, yet willful young spiral born under the Shadowbinders care.
She thrived in the dark presence of The Tangled Wood. The gnarled brambles and thick shrouding mist that cloaked the area was perfect for her to hide and sneak up on unsuspecting prey.
She was a skilled and confident hunter and fighter. Her large luminous purple eyes, so accustomed to the cursed twilight of her birth home, meant the darkness that surrounded her held no fear in her.

Many underestimate the young spiral. Who seemed at first glance, like many of her breed, very scatter brained and unfocused.
It was a mistake many didn't make twice.
For although she had her 'air head' moments (many of them to be fair..), she tended to use it to her advantage. She was after all shadow born. She grew up in a enviroment where she needed to be cunning and sneaky. She was more than tricky to deal with.
In battle, her fast mind and sudden tricks in the air left many a enemy confused, bewildered and quickly beaten.
Her skill at her traps and sneak attacks often had her in the Shadowbinder's graces. Something she was greatly proud of. And often bragged about... to other disgruntled members of the shadow filled region.

Her decision to leave and journey to other areas of elemental control was a sudden one. Very quick actually. She had the thought and spontaneously decided to just go. And go she did. That very day.
She of course, caused a lot of mischief on her travels. Annoying and frustrating other less tolerant (and often stronger) members of other clans and elements.
It gave a her a thrill and and keep her skills sharp escaping. She had to adapt to the new regions and territories. It was a challenge she delighted in.

She wasn't sure what brought her flight to the grassy high reaches of The Zephyr Steppes. Maybe the urge was a ingrained one? To visit the land that her kind originated from. Or maybe it was the idea of being able to test herself and her serpentine body in the clashing chaos in the wind rushed land.
She joined Sakura's clan after watching her and the Large glossy scaled Imperial Ara training.
They had protential. She could see that. With a bit of guidance anyway..
She was intrigued and her fast moving mind decuded she would train with them. After all she might yet learn something from these two slow, yet surprisingly determined dragons.

And Sakura suddenly found herself wih a very spirited spiral, who paused for breathe only long enough for Sakura to gather (marginally) what the feisty spiral's name was, that she wanted to train with them, that they were stupidly slow (and she was talking waaaay to damn quick), And finally when where they having lunch?
Arcade soon became one of the main defenders/protectors of Sakura's clan. Paired in battles with Sakura herself and Ara, the smaller more agile Arcade made short work of her opponents with her speed and cunning, while the other two females used their bulk and strength to their advantage.
They made a very good team. And though she missed the dark creepiness of The Tangled Wood, she ended up adoring the fast chaotic pace of the Steppes.
She was happy.

Arcade even became a mate and mother.
Her mate Arrow had impressed her with his determination to learn, and his playfulness and cheeky antics intrigued the trickster in her. He wasn't very skilled or cunning in battle. But he would give it his all. To the point were he once collapsed unconcious through sheer exhaustion. (and got markedly told off by Sakura and the skydancer healer Charmer... Much to Arcade's amusement)
His fast and surprisingly fresh way of thinking often would excite Arcade as she didn't know what to expect around him. He would one day make a excellant protector of the clan one day... If he learned to focus long enough anyway...

As a mother, Arcade was... Well. She wasn't bad by any means. She cared, fed, guarded and protected her young. Though to her, it wasn't that much different then when she protected the other hatchlings in the lair...
She just wasn't very maternal. Which disappointed her at first... Before she shrugged it off. She couldn't change who she was after all. She definitely loved her children. Just in her own way.
She was thankful that at least Arrow was the paternal type. So much so that their son idolised his father and had a strong bond with him.
Arcade didn't mind. After all she could always teach Arrow some of the tricks she learned to get by. Safe in the knowledge that Arrow would most certainly pass them on to their son.
Because unlike Arrow, though her son had the bright green eyes of the Wingsinger, Arcade knew he also had the heart of a trickster.
