Biography
Rank: High
Role: Cursecaster
Subgroup: None
Presented to Viola as a new little sister, this Skydancer was not received well.
Viola, the Clan's Prophet, had been speaking with Queen Bowthorpe about her latest vision whilst I had been out. She had envisioned a bright dragon, which Viola believes to be bringers of despair and bad luck, causing chaos in the Lair. It had "the red eyes of disease," and "a hidden inner darkness".
When I returned to the Lair with the new baby in tow, I proudly presented it Viola. She promptly screamed and attempted to flee. She was adamant that the hatchling would bring disease and bad luck into the clan, her bright fur would attract dark spirits, and she would destroy the Lair. She was finally convinced to stay, on the condition that she wouldn't have to go anywhere near the "bright white, red-eyed demon of a dragon."
She was given a proper check-up, proving she carried no disease. On her first day, she found an Unhatched Arcane Egg while scavenging, which brought great wealth to the Clan. And finally, over the next few days, the excitable hatchling caused a little damage to walls and furniture in the lair, but it was not quite the chaos Viola imagined. The baby, who was still unnamed, was actually bringing joy, wealth and luck to the Clan.
Viola finally accepted that the new dragon was harmless, and was allowed to name her; MissFortune, as she was originally a bringer of misfortune, but then one of luck.
