It happened on the second day after the sick baby Wildclaw was taken back to the lair. Not mean death, as her keeper Maple was totally familiar with death and Cizin who took her back was never sure the baby could make it... IT was something stranger, much stranger.
"I'll never say it is a Wildclaw." said the Alpha, when he was called into the meeting about the newbie.
"I swear it WAS."
"It was and it isn't." Summarized by Maple. "It is er... I don't know, to be honest."
The creature they're looking at was half-dragon, half-worm. It looked like an embryo of a Fae — if Maple didn't see it "grew out" from the poor Wildclaw. But this parasite seemed to be peaceful and harmless now, huddling itself up in the corner without a sound.
"Keep an eye on your trouble." Sebastian sighed finally. The "Fae" blinked slowly behind.

It’s hard to grab answers out of Mistletoe’s mouth as she’s — worse than real Faes — totally soundless, using gestures to communicate, or showing her emotions and some rough thoughts in mind. Therefore, all can hardly know how this parasite got inside a Wildclaw baby and was finally found in a patch of blood of her previous host. This parasite cannot burrow into others now, and in fact she no longer needs to; however, staring at eyes spots on her wings can still risk being hypnotized and becoming a host of her spiritual hypha. They can root in one’s eyes, stealing the host's energy, and grow into corporeal hypha and suck their host dry in the end.
