Fael is the founder of this clan, his intention to create a home that he never had.
Upon meeting Orielle in the Starwood forest, they began this gathering of dragons. As time went by, the territory grew and many have passed through the land. The clan became a place of refuge, healing and even a simple rest stop for dragons flying overhead, needing a break. More and more lairs were filled, each resident with a unique life story to be told. Some were guests that never felt the need to leave, others were invited without a place to go, this place was open for everyone who needed a home. New members are always welcome to join, and existing and free to leave whenever, although their bonds will never be forgotten. Fael remembers each and every person to come and go, holding their memories close and forever treasured. |

His story starts in a building of wealth, power... and neglect.
He thought it was him, that something was wrong with him. Living with this woman envied by all, showered with praises of how amazing she is, how charming and how much she has sacrificed for her family. So he figured if he was miserable living there, it certainly couldn't have been because of her. Especially since he was the family that was spoken of.

When he was young, Rafi loved learning. At the time, nothing else brought him more joy than to have knowledge that he didn't have before. However, when the woman denied him of learning, the joy would disappear as if had never happened at all.
At first, she had left the lessons alone and Rafi was able to study in peace. The things that he was learning was becoming increasingly difficult at a pace faster than most. His knowledge even surpassing his teachers at a young age. And yet he didn't stop learning and would find a new teacher himself. Then the woman decided that she would stand at the side, acting as surveillance for the content that he was taught. It was when the woman realised that she struggled with the material, that the lessons completely stopped. This was a common pattern in the household. He would find a new interest for her to find that she was inferior to his abilities and then interest was gone. |

So when he grew up and found that he had wanted to study medicine and healing, he had done it in secret. It was a decision he made on the day he had gotten very unwell.
That day, Rafi was in such an unbearable condition that he barely ate and couldn't even stand up without support. Although no one knows what could have caused it or how to make it better - no one came to properly try. The only attempt was by that woman. She was so assured of the success in her method that no doctor was called in. If it could be called a method at all. As he lied under the bed covers in pain, the woman walked in holding a statue - something Rafi was sure was just sitting on a table just outside his room. She gave it to him, quickly recoiling her arm back after the interaction. Satisfied she began to leave the room, saying words that Rafi could still very easily recall to this day. The deities will heal you if you pray. He knew that there was no reason for the deities to help. And so, that was his motivation to become a great healer. As well as the beginning of his main aspiration of bringing happiness to a number of people surpassing those who the woman has made miserable. |

It was shortly after that when he discovered a hidden room with books collected by a person who he's only heard of - his father, a man the woman claimed she loved and yet despised for not being rich. Inside was filled with all sorts of documents; information regarding ancient alchemy, magic from faraway lands and knowledge that had been long forgotten. With no friends or any particular duties, Rafi spent his days hidden in this secret room learning all he could. He perfected his acting, finding ways to get away and lie in order to return to this untold place. Rafi thought that this is was all life had in store for him until everything changed when it was all set aflame. Caused by a candle knocked over during the woman's anger tantrums, everything in the mansion caught on fire. Those records, the servants and herself. Covered in ash and a flaming building in the background, Rafi left to never return again. He would fulfil his dreams, obscure knowledge in hand and denial of any familial relations... and his new journey begin there. From meeting with the goddess Rari, to his unexpected destination of Sorineth, it was a story for another time. |
