Biography
A long time ago, there was a large clan of dragons that loved swimming and splashing in the water. It was their source of joy, and you could see them commonly everywhere playing in the water. These dragons called their clan The Song of a Thousand Waves. The members of the clan, the Oceansong, came from the heart of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. They existed for a long time, always swimming with the currents and waves. They rested while staying afloat, and ate at the surface of the sea.
Eventually they became inseparable from the sea. The constant swimming caused waves and ripples to wash over their scales, and wavy patterned markings formed. For some the water would crystalize on them to form gemlike stones; for others the water would polish them, making their scales glimmer. The clan is insular and they are rarely seen by outsiders. It is thought that they live mostly in the area around the Spiral Keep.
