To dragons who first meet this solemn and quiet skydancer, they believe that he holds grudges against many, plotting to take his revenge on whoever disrespects him. These are all lies however, as Morninglight is one of the happiest dragons you could ever meet, although he doesn’t show it due to being an introvert.

He was loved very much by his mother and father, who encouraged him to smile through all his problems and to always find a bright side. Morninglight’s father loved to take his only son outside to teach the young dragon to fight. However, he wasn’t aggressive or demanding about it, telling Morninglight where he would go wrong, and encouraging him to do his best.

One day it all turned around, with his father being drafted for a battle against several warriors of the light flight. The older dragon told Morninglight to keep smiling, and that it would all be okay. He never returned home, being ambushed and killed by a hysterical mirror, and the news crushed Morninglight’s heart. The grief remained with him and his mother throughout many years, but the skydancer made sure to keep smiling, as his father wanted.

Eventually he joined a group of dragons, shying away from them at first due to the lack of social interaction, but soon warming up to them enough to speak his own thoughts and opinions. His friends would note him rushing into battle with grace and strength, taking down anybody he could, all with a positive air surrounding him. Every month from then on, he made sure to visit his mother back home, comforting her that he was still here, and doing well.
