Biography
Earth subspecies Molten rock
Requirements:
Breed: All breeds allowed
Primary Gene: giraffe
Secondary Gene: hex
Tertiary Gene: smirch
Primary Colors: sand to rust (brown and earthy colors)
Secondary Colors: sand to rust (brown and earthy colors)
Tertiary Colors: fire and carrot
Lore: Some of the deep ravines and caves in Dragonhome go all the way to the earth crust where molten lava bubbles and sizzles. Sometimes after earthquakes lava seeps to the surface to form little rivers of molten rock. This attracted some particularly thick-skinned dragons who began to decorate their rocky hides with lava. Hot magma carved web-like patterns to their skin and they began to be known as Molten rock subspecies. In the beginning they simply used rivulets of lava for decoration but it seems their hatchlings emit molten rock from the pores of their wings and head naturally. Maybe persistent contact with lava changed their genetics to pass this decorative feature on to their offspring. Their thick rocky hides make them very heat resistant and they tend to gather near warmer spots of Dragonhome.
