Clan Role:
Cultural facilitator/translator between the dragon and Mith clan members Nausicaä is a brave, energetic dragon who is happiest soaring up in the sky on the winds. She knows the forests of the Viridian Labyrinth well, and likes to study its ecology, observing how its myriad creatures and geology interact. She has a particular fondness for insects (apart from eating the food varieties), and acts as a representative for the Mith members to the other species of the Driftwood Clan who may not be able to understand their language or cultural/living needs. She's good friends with many of the Mith, and has several insect familiars whom she tends with great care. Much of the time she is out flying, either for pleasure or to scout for danger. When not dancing among the winds, she is usually off exploring the forest, or cultivating new species of plants to learn more about them. While the Driftwood Clan tries its best to avoid war and conflict, in the instances when the clan is attacked, Nausicaä will return to the battleground after the fighting is over to help repair the damaged landscape to its original condition if necessary. Depending on the nature of the battle, sometimes the forest comes to little harm, while other times the damage can be heavy, especially if fires or explosions have occurred. Her mate, Forestwake, sometimes has a difficult time keeping up with her energetic escapades. However, they both enjoy time just basking in the gentle verdant glow of the jungle and taking in the scenery. Forestwake will usually help her with her goals, such as restoring damaged forest or helping to solve a problem that the Miths are having. In many ways, he is her calmer, more reserved counterpart. |
