The coroner's report had the time of death clearly listed. It seems her soul didn't want to believe it. After several days of being locked in the Light District's REDACTED morgue, she started moving around again. She banged on the door for hours and hours until someone came to let her out. They called the authorities. Schwartz Industries showed up first.

They assured the mortician that it was a simple mistake and compensated him handsomely for his troubles. He wasn't seen or heard from again.

Gren, meanwhile, found a new home in the company. She doesn't remember much of her past life. There is no sense of smell left to trigger memories. The surroundings are unfamiliar. All she has are the bones she plays with.

She likes it that way.
