Although with a tendency to push the envelope in matters of ethics, Mojave has been invaluable and unfailingly loyal to the clan he trades for, and a major source of its profits, through the Trading Caravan he founded, and runs in partnership with his friend Portakal.

A long-time member of Clan Motley, he is unhesitating to fight to protect either clan or caravan, and while the clan leadership at times has to reign in his more dubious "business plans", they otherwise leave him reign to do what he does best, as a savvy merchant and cunning trader.

Portakal, who Mojave acquired first as a bodyguard for the caravan, then later accepted as a full-fledged partner, has been a stablizing influence on both the clan's trading business, and on Mojave personally--tho Mo would have a hard time actually saying the latter. Tak knows, tho.
