Nils

Well, it seems that I am off! I'm extremely nervous, but the excitement is just as strong. It's still hard for me to believe that I'm getting the chance to start over. Ah, if I'm keeping a journal of my travels I guess I should start at the beginning. My old life seems so distant and meaningless now. Where everything really began was a few months ago; I'd been ready to join the ranks of the exalted. It seemed like there was nothing left for me - my mate and children had already become exalts, my age was starting to become apparent, and I couldn't fit in at any of the clans I tried to join. I thought if I was exalted I might make a difference in something for once. During a fierce battle with the beastclans, I found a clan helping exalts to train for the fights ahead and who would also help send them off to the deities. The trainer, Jualom, however seemed to be able to tell my heart wasn't really in it. The others were young, strong, ready to serve, I just felt like it was the only thing I might be good for. He took me off the training roster and told me that if I wanted to be useful then I could help as support for the clan's warriors and teams. It was gruelling work, rushing back and forth fetching food, medical equipment, and other supplies, cleaning the rooms and armor, treating wounds - but it was rewarding, seeing those warriors' faces light up as I arrived with a hot meal or soft blanket. Spending time in the clan I heard so many stories; many of the permanent residents were former travelers and they also acted as a rest stop for current travelers. There was also a group of older dragons living there who laughed when I complained of my age. They made me realize that I still had a whole life I'd never lived! So now, I'm setting off on a journey of my own. I can't wait to see what's in store for me and all the wonders the world has to offer.

The first clan I came to was Corrosionius, a derelict but scientific town near the Seedscar. I didn’t spend long there, but I enjoyed my time there!

What a wild time! I got lost in the wilds of the gladekeeper and thought for sure I would perish. But just when I thought that there was no hope, I stumbled into a magical glen filled with travelers! I had never felt such peace and stayed quite a while. I was glad to rest after almost being lost in the wilds forever, but there was still something odd about the place. Some of the travelers were really shifty, even if the hosts weren't. I don't know, I just felt out of place there, so as pleasant as it was, I was glad to leave.
