Andromeda is a vain dragon, often spending hours polishing her scales and trying on jewels. However, she is also very kind, always encouraging her many friends to be themselves. Self expression and individuality are very important to her.

Andromeda is a self-declared "expert on all things shiny". She has made a name for herself crafting jewellery and decorative weapons.

She often mines for the gems she uses herself, having been gifted with the natural Ridgeback burrowing skills.
One afternoon she was making use of these skills. She dug deep into the ground and was about to grab perhaps the shiniest crystal she'd ever seen when her eye was nearly poked out by the nose of another Ridgeback. They were both stunned, but he recovered more quickly than Andromeda. Grinning, he snatched the crystal right out of the cave wall, and scurried away at such a pace she had no hopes of catching up to him, although she later learned he hailed from the StrikeFlame clan. She declared that it was the worst thing that ever happened to her (it wasn't) and that she would one day get revenge (she hasn't).
