It is a matter of great debate among many lair members whether the skull is her actual face or not.
Sonntag, whenever she is seen, makes conversation drop to hushed whispers. Not out of fear, but more of a desire to not disturb her or catch her attention, because even though her benevolence is well known, having her stare into one's eyes with those empty sockets gives off an uncomfortable sense of transience.
She is driven to collect the souls of the drowned - to what end, nobody knows. Neither is it known what she does with them, but as to why, she will answer that they must not be left to the beasts below. She has yet to be asked any further.
