He'd been searching for his friend, Frog (ID #: 40406094). When his friend, no, he was much more than that to Murk, had been banished, Murk knew he needed to follow. He gave up his blood family, not that they really mattered much to him, and went to the Shadow Realm. THAT'S what actually mattered. He would never be able to see his true home again. But Murk would do it for him. He would do it for Frog. Because he would never be able to live without Frog's smile. At least not in the cold lands of the forever winter. He would always chose Frog over his home land. It was only when he found his best friend chasing around a female he realized he gave up his home for nothing.

"Let's go home. We can work something out with the Icewarden." Murk told his friend as soon as they were alone. Frog raised an eyebrow.
"Why are you here?"
"I came after you! I can't stand to live in the Southern Icefields without you, Frog. I travelled all they way here, trying to find you with some stranger named Ritrovalo. But let’s go back together."
"But what about Frost?" (ID #: 40406093) Frog looked back at the clearing where Frost was waiting. Murk huffed before continuing.
"Leave her. You've only known her for what, two weeks?”
“No,” Frog frowned, “It’s been one month, three days, and five hours,” Frog said positively.
