Biography

The little imperial blinked open her glowing, white eyes. Blurry faces surrounded her, faces of every color. Shining, shimmering faces. She blinked again, clearing her vision.

"Gems?" one of the faces asked.

"No," another answered. This voice was deep, calm, commanding. The hatchling did not know much, but it sent a shiver down her spine.

"These gems come from... inside," the voice murmured. "Opal, they call it." The hatchling located the source of the voice. A towering, golden imperial, silks and jewels strung about his wings and face. Her white eyes met his icy ones.

"Who are you?" the hatchling squeaked out, flaring her wings out to the side. She heard the voices gasp in awe as her opal patches caught the sunlight.

"I am Heimdall," the golden imperial answered, "and you shall be called Infinity."
