Apheresis was a blood mage, though not anymore. Aphie has used her experience in the plaguelands to study disease in the place it congregates most. She is now the city's consulting epidemiologist, advising Council on the newest strains of disease and how to best prevent the city from falling to one. Being a fairly isolated city in the sky is a boon to not falling to diseases on the mainland, but Apheresis is always careful to not let that go to her head and relax her stances on keeping disease out.
