Though Ornery and Largely Unpleasant due to his habit of speaking over other dragons; Karezi is unusual in that his general unpleasantness masks an overly protective and insecure individual.
Karezi is naturally good detective and makes good use of his sleuthing abilities in the dawnguard.
Karezi is a self appointed peacekeeper and protector of the clan. Much to the bemusement of The actual peacekeeper;

Karezi is often uncomfortable around Hatchlings but fiercly protective of them. As he finds it hard to put up his usual unpleasant facade around them. Hatchling's love Karezi though many of his clanmates cant figure out why that is.
