Biography
Princess Agion
Acidic - Plague
» “Never judge a book by its cover,” whined Agion as claws mauled her snout and verbal insults rung in her ears. Tears of shame and fright streamed down her face, for even herself had come to fear her worn, weathered title- a princess.
» For years, her peers had thrown her name around as if it were nothing but a glass of spoiled milk, a meager thing marking the bottom of society. In their narrow sight, a princess couldn’t do anything. Even during training, taunts and jeers would breathe and brush the back of her neck, causing uncomfortable warmth to rush to her cheeks, quenched only by torrents of tears.
» However, over time, taunts turned to grudging praise, mauling and maiming turned to proud pounds on her back. Agion could shoot an arrow faster and straigher than her instructors. She could knock an arrow and peg the bullseye several times while diving through the clouds, wrestle the strongest trainee and still win.
» Agion’s skillset even caught the eye of steel-hearted, hawk-like Pathera. The way the princess could rally the spirits and carry the hopes of her fellow soldiers made the Head of the Guard believe that the title of princess was only, in fact, a title. It was then no surprise to Agion and her classmates that the young queen was to be appointed second-in-command.
» Those who did not agree with Agion’s position challenged her, of which always resulted in their untimely demise.
» “I did not earn this position because I’m royalty,” Agion would hiss with her claws poised at her opponents throat. “I only earned it because I chose to work hard. I chose to be the pillar of support you lean on in times of desperation, times of need. I chose to commit myself to training future generations for war. In return, I was chosen to take this honorable position, a position of which I deserve. I am many things, but I am also Agion, Honorable Second-In-Command of the Guard. Who are you, stranger?”
