Biography

Lyrewind and her mate, Lacevein, are the lair's self-appointed experts in good taste. They'd moved from place to place after the windswept plains proved too dusty, the watery realms too musty, the glaciers too cold, and the lava fields too hot. They've settled in the Gladekeeper's domain after a few tangles with spider webs and complaints about leaf litter - after all that deciding it's 'quite tolerable'. The pair insists on eating only the freshest delicacies, being properly groomed and presentable at all times, and always second in line (after the leaders) to greet guests.

The pair's fellow lairmates are entertained by Lyrewind's and Lacevein's rather picky natures. In exchange, they've found that the rather snooty skydancers can be quite warm and social once someone gets to know them. Lacevein takes great pride in sharing the most gourmet and rare foodstuffs in the land, while Lyrewind is an excellent crafter and turns the forest's raw materials into beautiful baubles and keepsakes. They are both superb hosts and always hospitable (if not a little judgemental) to good-willed travelers passing through the territory. They also keep themselves and the lair immaculately clean - something appreciated by everyone with the hoarding tendencies of their leader Brambleyre.
