Biography
Gene plan:
Primary- Tiger
Secondary- eyespots
Tertiary- Runes
Born in a strange fae colony near the center of the Starwood Strand, Unseelie was given no name, and as such, gave herself one from the old books that filled the lair. Everything in said lair had books, and seemed more sized for a guardian than a group of fae dragons. It was a great library of knowledge, open to all in the clan. The clan had devoted themselves to become scribes and storytellers, capturing tales from around Sornieth and preserving them in their books. Many fae here devoted their whole lives simply capturing a single story. However, Unseelie broke the cardinal rule, when she saw a fairy tale with a tragic ending
She changed a story.
To do so was considered a great sin by the clan, and they unanimously cast her out, leaving her alone in a strange world. Knowing little of the outside world besides the stories she had read as a child, she tried to do what she had always done: tell stories. However, she was met with little success, as listeners disliked her dull depiction, and felt she needed to embellish more. Oddly enough, it was the trait that got her exiled that ended up saving her in the first place.
Soon she met Yokai, a groundbound fae with a peculiar magic condition, and they bonded, wanting to find their own place in the world. Creating a nest on a fallen tree on the beach, they had their first clutch of eggs, two small children.
However, when the two woke up, their tree had been swept up by a wave and was heading towards the other side of the Starwind Bay. They should have been terrified, but instead, they were excited. Traveling such long distances seemed a dream to most tiny fae, and here they were outside of the Starfall Isles. Washing ashore upon the bay, the two fae laughed, simply happy to be alive and to explore such new sights. Together, they affixed wheels to their small tree home, creating a makeshift cart of sorts so they could continue exploring. This was the start of their great caravan and the traveling Magical Menagerie.
Nowadays, Unseelie is still a storyteller, but on a much grander scale. She helps put together some of the Menagerie's more grandiose performances, and personally trains other fae in how to put together the show's signature special effects. She is still the founder and leader of the Menagerie, but perfers to let others take the spotlight, enjoying simply supporting them and helping others realize their dreams and talents, and giving them a place to call home.
