The Spinster
You find him, cuddled up in the crook of his mate Leafy's wing, picking through the patches she has left behind and turning them into the most beautiful things- a lovingly hand-embroidered shirt for another of the lair, a wing cover made out of fabric that shimmers impossibly in the light. But most precious of these, sits in the back of their hollowed out nest. "Come, I will show you," he murmured, soft-spoken at the best of times. He leads you past the quilts that hang over the entrance and into the softly lit, well padded room, full of so many colors and patterns you don't know where to look. The small Fae, however, leads you over to the nest. Beside each egg, a small stuffed toy nestles beside them.
