True to his flight, Rudolf loves plants. His claws are gentle and every step is cautious, lest he damage anything underfoot. He prefers the company of his plants to that of other dragons, though he is never rude. When asked, he would say that plants are more reliable and that they never lie.
He is never seen with a frown and often has an air of wonderment around him. He can usually be found talking to the plants in his garden, if not tending to the trees surrounding the lair.
