B I O G R A P H Y

The origin of this dragon is unknown, but it has a unique harmony with nature and is willing to destroy anything to protect it. Zygarde's health seems to be directly linked to the health of the ecosystems around it, causing it to go into a frenzy when pollution is introduced into the area. Zygarde first met with the Eternal Brimstone clan when they were raiding a monster nest far to the east . The monsters were polluting the river in order to cut off fish supplies to nearby dragons, when the combat started the destruction of the ecosystem and the deaths of the fauna and flora, Zygarde awoke.

Zygarde entered the battle as an enemy both the the clan attempting to save the environment and the monsters seeking to abuse it. The monsters stood little chance and were easily destroyed, but the clan defended itself fiercely against the brutal attacks. But as the ecosystem around died, Zygarde himself weakened till he could fight no longer, and collapsed. The clan sent out its most heavily armed soldiers and its highest trained medics to see if they could revive the fallen dragon and seek answers about its past, aggressive attacks, and extreme physical prowess.

Zygarde awoke in the mobile fortress of the clan and was surprised that the strangers were nursing him back to health despite his attacks towards them. Zygarde often didn't remember when he fell into his defensive rages, and they often drove away anybody that would be an ally. Speaking with the officials of the clan, Zygarde told him what little information he has about his origin and the primal urges to protect nature he partook in. Offering to help him find answers to his past and attempt to revitalize the destroyed area, a specialized team would take Zygarde to a temple devoted to The Gladekeeper and try to gain an audience with her.

B I O G R A P H Y

The journey was long and treacherous, but Zygarde was learning so much about the clan aiding him and forming bonds with its members . Zygarde was originally appalled by Jelly's unnatural and destructive creation, but soon sympathized with her as she was as lonely as he is now. Epazote scouted out the path for them to travel, and didn't seem to like conversing much with the team. Jelly explained Epazote had a dark and brutal past, but was one of the most loyal and caring dragons in the entire clan.

Apon arrival to The Gladekeepers shrine, Zygarde felt intense feelings of healthiness and strength coarse through his body. Jelly and Epazote offered to enter the temple with him, but this was a trial he felt he must face alone. A priestess of The Gladekeep had been told by her goddess that he would arrive shortly. While waiting to converse with The Gladekeeper either directly or indirectly he looked around him and took in the extremely powerful natural energies the temple gave off, and soon heard a voice in his head.

This voice wasn't of The Gladekeeper, but of a high ranking assistant speaking to him telepathically. Zygarde listened to his origin of how The Gladekeeper has specifically designed him to be a protector of nature and those who devoted their time protecting it. She explained that be coming the temple he had awoken his abilities and would be able to speak to hear anytime, she also explained that the Eternal Brimstone clan could be powerful allies. The priestess explained that the clan could be useful for helping spread the ideals of The Gladekeeper, protecting nature from destruction, and that they could teach young followers of The Gladekeeper to awaken their natural powers and get them ready for the endless war against destruction.
