A battle raged not too long ago - Arcane and Plague dragons determined to scratch every last inch of dirt away from the other. It was during this battle Dust came into being. His clan fought valiantly for Plaguebringer and sent many of their best to help serve her in the growing struggle. But Dust was afraid - what happens to those granted the honored title of exalted?He never wanted to find out. He fled from his clan, fled from the call of battle, fled as far as his wings could take him. For weeks he struggled to survive in the harsh world that sprawled and steamed. But while Dust was a coward in the face of a war he proved he could bravely face the brutal land. So many had died here and left treasures - if only you knew how to look. One night he came across a giant white guardian who called herself Aurix. Dust remained very wary of strangers, but was drawn in by this strange offer. What might he ask for? His voice wavered a bit as he delivered his request. To survive. Dust grew numerous legs all along his serpentine body, his dexterity through the bones and spires of the wastes couldn't be matched. His wings faded into a thin light membrane like that of a fly. Now far lighter he could fly distances impossible than before. Now Dust has to honor the only promise he ever made - to stay close to the others bound to him and try not to die. No, he wouldn't be the one to go first, and if he had anything to say about it the others aren't going to die anytime soon. Dust took wing and scours the wastes for even the smallest morsel of food or treasure. With his help the clan could sustain itself and perhaps even thrive on the harsh shores. ╚══════════════════════╝
