@marshsiren: He looks like some angelic warrior! My favorite part of him would probably be his sanddollar tapir paired with his accent, the two just go together so perfectly. The bow 'n arrow is also a good and simple touch to this pure boy.

@Redsand: Anpiel is sporting one of the best festival accents and boy does he looks good. Tapir is such a fickle gene sometimes but I love the stripes and the little spots on his nose. The accent gives that perfect pop of color, and the feathers really match the ends of striation on that back wing. Minimal apparel is definitely the way to go here - nice job getting that pendant to blend in so well and make him look even more handsome!

@CelesteNova: He gives me an angelic // Greek God vibe! Especially with his archer bow!

  • Has an appreciation for history and how things came to be. Could also spout off a bunch of historical facts if asked to, but largely refrains from doing so otherwise. Most of the time.
  • Likes to collect jewelry, but is more than willing to wear it and show it off. He has tried his hand (claw) at making some of his own, but his attempts often fall short.
  • Will sometimes whistle or hum when he's happy or in a generally good mood without realizing he is doing so.
  • He has very good eye sight and it helps when roaming a forest or protecting a bird friend.

Anpiel is a very nervous dragon, preferring the woods and hunting with his bow than interacting with other dragons. He wears all his sparkley bangles in an attempt to be noticed and liked. When he meets other dragons, he'll start off with historical facts, and then move on to casual converstion. He can often be seen reading. He's softhearted and loves woodland creatures, and never hunts to kill.

1. Anpiel is an exceptional marksman, but hates hunting.
2. Flowers bloom anywhere Anpiel sleeps for more than one night at a time. His lair houses some of the rarest and most beautiful gardens in the land.
3. It's embarrassing but Anpiel actually burns quite easily in the sun. As such he never goes out without cover.
4. It is a source of great pride for Anpiel that all of his children so far have been chose to serve the deities.
5. Anpiel may or may not be a secret avatar of one of the dragon deities himself but no one is sure since he only smiles softly when questioned about the rumors.

i couldn't resist, i just love wildclaws :)
There's something about Anpiel that strikes you. It might be the jingling of chimes that seems to follow him everywhere, or the flock of birds that constantly surrounds him, or the rustle of the wind in the trees when he passes them. The sweet aroma of the flowers decorating his wings draws you in, yet he never seems to want anyone near. However, on the rare occasion when you catch him in slumber, he has an air of pure peace about him. You can't help but want to lay down next to him and sleep too.

Oh, looks like Belial stumbled upon Anpiel and wanted to say hi!

Belial nervously approached the Wildclaw, hoping his rough appearance wouldn't intimidate them. He'd really hate it if he scared them off, cause something about this guy made his heart really flutter, which doesn't happen very often.

"Uh...Uh hello there?" Belial said, trying his best to smile through his shyness. "I uh hope im not bothering you but I um..." His voice failed him. He never was the best at approaching strangers, especially if he's already feeling anxious. A part of him just wanted to apologize for interrupting and make up an excuse to run away in the other direction, but another part still wanted to talk.

"I...um th-think you look cool..?" He quickly said, doing his best not to start gushing about how much he liked this complete stranger. "I was just uh...I saw you shooting arrows and thought you looked so cool and majestic!"

"Oh, and uh m-my name's Belial!" He stumbled over himself. "I was gonna go get some lunch and uh, maybe you'd want to come along? There's this place uh I know that has the best hot chocolate and sandwiches!"

"Th-that is, if you're not already busy!" Belial blushed. He would love it if they said yes, though he'd hate to be a bother. "I-I mean, its totally fine with me if you are! Just thought I'd ask."

Miss Lazulite
23105663.png
Seems to have a liking for Anpiel
She had fluttered her wings, forcing her body to the surface of the water. Her blue body shuddered as she clambered onto the white ice. She needed an escape, an occasion sweet escape of her home. She was born, raised, indoctrinated to be an ambassador of the water flight in the ashy, smokey, hot lands that was her home. Even the outskirts of such a place drove her crazy from time to time and she often but heads with the clan leader.

She had heard of another dragon in a very much similar position to her own. He lived deep in the frosted lands that claimed most dragons that were unfamiliar to the territory. Ice and water were closest of kin, so it did not bother her as much as one would have thought. Lazulite had padded across snow padded fields. Many of the flats fluffier inhabitants were kind enough to give her directions as she pressed forth. Eventually she had found herself in the common pathways of the old lairs of frigid water.

Lazulite laid eyes on him. He was stunning, both at home and no where near. He was a pale yellow color that looked vey familiar to these parts as it blended well with the ice. Though his attire spoke of a different story. Of the soft jovial nature of the Twisting Crescendo. Though his eyes were obscured, the rune on his forehead told her that his life was likely very similar to her own. With a bow slung across his back, nestled between his wings, she felt he was not expecting any sort of company, out for a walk, enjoying the remnants of the day, as it was always bright or always dark in the tundra. Though oddly enough, despite not being born of nature, tiny tufts of grass or flowers cropped up around his feet as the joined with the ice.

Lazulite fluttered her wings to hop and increase her speed to catch up to him, much akin to a raven hopping over to a carcass. Her wings were used for swimming more often than flight, she found flight to be most comfortable at a short distance. Lazulite had come to his side, careful not to touch him with any part of her body. He voice barely breaking above a whisper "You're Anpiel aren't you?"
the dragon bobbed his head softly and without a word. Her heart began to pound, wondering if this was right. If it was right for her to find herself uncontrollably and hopelessly enamoured with him. Her teachings had taught her to be chaste, but having done so for so long, yet watching little ones grow made her envious in her own way.

Returning from her thoughts she returned to speak to him "Would you mind if we went to talk somewhere private?" Though a stranger to him, he seemed to oblige her, taking her to a precipice. Down below they could see all of the dragons from the elder lairs. They brought home food, materials to continue expanding their homes, their various scavenges, or a new egg from foreign lands. Closer to the entrance of dens they could see mothers and fathers playing with their young and the elderly staying inside, close to the den entrances. Lazulite had forgotten the pains that brought her here in the first place. She had looked to Anpiel, noticing the frost below their bodies had turned to grass and in front of it, a single white rose perked up in front of her. Lazulite had told Anpiel "Strange... I came here so frustrated with my own home yet being here, with you just stole that anguish away. There must be some kind of tranquility in that breezy place you hail from." Her claws had gently brushed over the soft white petals of the rose. Her blue eyes slowly shifting back to her wordless companion, though he said nothing it felt like he was listening, to her words yes but to more of what her soul needed. In their silence, Lazulite coiled her tail gently around Anpiel's as they watched the sun paint the snow in its own shades of red, yellow ,orange, pink, and at long last in shades of purples and blues.
