Monarch is the clan's advisor, though Corvus affectionately calls him the clan secretary. He keeps track of what needs to be done in the clan and informs Corvus and Tzicnal of any upcoming events or payments. A typical week for him consists of organizing the clan, arranging negotiations and meetings, communicating with clan members and ambassadors, attending meetings and keeping notes. He is also responsible for keeping track of the clan's income and outcome. Always on his person (dragon?) is his trusty abacus, and he can usually be found using it to figure out equations.
Nobody knows how Monarch got to be a part of the clan. He just showed up one day and when Corvus and Tzicnal assumed the roles of clan-leader, he started assisting the young dragons. He rarely speaks unless it has to do with his work, and nobody knows his history.
Several dragons have tried (and failed) to court him, but he is so invested in his calculations that he doesn't have time (and quite frankly, isn't at all interested) in any sort of relationship.
His familiar, Tarika, is quite lazy and is most often found being used by Monarch as a footstool.
