The current Baron of the Court of Wings, and the second in clan history. He took over after the first and former leader, Ace, had retired alongside his mate after losing most of his own hatchlings.
He joined the clan as a hatchling, being taken under Ace's wing as a sort of adopted son. In his young adulthood, he fell in love with his mate Platypus, who had newly joined the clan at that time. Together, they raised nine hatchlings and were among the first Lords and Ladies of the Court of Wings.
Nearing the elder years of his life and having led the clan for almost half of it, Flotsam is looking to retire soon alongside his mate so they can enjoy the twilight years of their lives together. However, he's beginning to have doubts about his daughter and possible successor, Jetsam, taking over the clan in his stead. All the same, he grows weary of his position, and finding a new successor under such short notice would be a long process with the potential to spark conflict in the clan...
